I live in Lehi, UT. And I am currently looking for top soil for my first attempt at a veggie garden. And I was wondering what type or kind of top soil should I be looking for?

Depending on your budget, you can either get a “garden mix” top soil from a nursery (most expensive). This is very loamy, nutritious soil that would be very good for your plants. It will be void of rocks and such. You could also get regular screened top soil from a quarry or or contractor and then add amendments and fertilizer (least expensive). When I was adding soil to my garden, I chose the latter and added peat moss and fertilizer to the top soil. This mostly had the same affect as the garden mix and was probably half the price. That being said, it was much more work (tilling and distributing peat moss, dealing with rocks in the soil etc.) then getting the garden mix. Hope this points you in the right direction.
